A Taste of Cavan

This 9^th and 10^th August, discover the ‘food event of the summer, as Taste of Cavan returns to Cavan Equestrian Centre with two days of family fun, showcasing a mouth-watering selection of the very best local food and drink.

This year the event will boast an unrivalled line-up of the country’s very best chefs and will include Neven Maguire, Simon Delaney, Jeeny Maltese, Gearóid Lynch, Brian McDermott, Shane Smith, Adrian Martin, Máire Dufficy, Daniel Willimont, Elena Martinez, and Norbert Neylon, not to mention a host of workshops, masterclasses and activities for the junior ‘taste buds’.

Taste of Cavan will be showcasing the extraordinary and diverse range of local food producers, chefs and restaurants in County Cavan. Visitors will get an opportunity to sample and purchase the finest of Cavan fare, from award winning cheeses, hand made chocolate, ice cream and organic sausages to boxty, breads, muffins, mushrooms, liqueurs, honey, meats and local jams.

You will be able to enjoy food demonstrations on both days by the best chefs in the country, while the kids will be entertained with a wide array of fun family activities and entertainment.
