Doolin Surf Festival

This March will see the first Doolin Surf Festival, also known as Doolin Surfest kick off. This festival is a three day festival and is taking place on the weekend of the 22nd to the 24th of March. It is being hosted by Hotel Doolin. The festival is being run by people who love the sea, for people who love the sea.

Surfers of all crafts, film-makers, artists, writers, musicians — for those of us the ocean inspires, heals, humbles and exhilarates, this is a gathering that gives us a chance to celebrate and give thanks for being lucky enough to live and work and play in this extraordinary environment.

The festival will host a number of film screenings, guest speakers, art exhibitions, workshops, competitions, bands and DJs and the best of sustainable local food and hospitality.

The competitions include Wave of the Winter, Tonn Mór (biggest wave ridden), Ride of the Year, Wipeout of the Year and a short film competition.

The Doolin Surf Festival is certainly a weekend not to be missed!
