This years Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival takes place in the town where the world’s greatest Guitarist was born – Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland between Thursday 30th May and Sunday 2nd June 2019.
Rory Gallagher, was born at the appropriately named Rock Hospital in Ballyshannon in 1948 and since 2002 the Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival has celebrated the Music & Life of Rory Gallagher in Ballyshannon, with over 10,000 fans from over 25 different countries now attending the Festival annually in Ballyshannon from all over the world.
This unique Irish Festival of the Year winner features non-stop Free to view open air concerts on the streets of the town, the Free to view Wild Atlantic Way gigs at the Rory Gallagher Statue, Free Pub Gigs – Day and Night, Busking, the Nightly Big Top Festival Concerts (only ticketed events), Exhibitions, Films, Discussions on Rory and the History of Irish Rock Music, Festival Camping and a great atmosphere of music fans that have travelled from over 25 countries worldwide.
The Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival is an event that needs to be experienced.
