The Baltimore Fiddle Fair now in its 26th year has gained the reputation of being one of the best traditional and folk music festivals around. It consistently features world class line-ups of national and international artists and presents them in the beautiful seaside surroundings of Baltimore. The festival consists of concerts, workshops, exhibitions and sessions at various venues around the village.

This years Fiddle Fair will commence on Thursday evening, the 10th of May, with an opening concert in Saint Matthew’s Church at 8.30pm featuring Dezi Donnelly & Michael McGoldrick who will also be launching their new album, The Dog in the Fog.

Friday evening will see Rhiannon Giddens with Francesco Turrisi followed by Ahlberg, Ek & Roswall who will be performing in the Fiddle Fair Marquee commencing at 9:00pm.

On Saturday Sheila Garry & Elaine Hogan will be performing in Saint Matthew’s Church at 1:00pm with a lunchtime concert. Later in the afternoon at 3pm Ciaran Tourish and Kevin Doherty followed by The Murphy Beds with Stephanie Coleman will be performing in the Glebe Gardens Amphitheatre.

In the evening, Heidi Talbot, John McCusker, Brendan Begley & Paul Meehan
Ulaid with Duke Special will be on stage at 9pm in the Fiddle Fair Marquee.

Sunday will see Ryan Young with Jen Butterworth at Saint Matthew’s Church for a lunchtime concert starting at 1:00pm. Then at 3pm Sam Amidon and The Underskore Orchestra will be on stage in the Glebe Gardens Amphitheatre.

Finishing off the day will be Brittany & Natalie Haas followed by Pennoù Skoulm who will be on stage in the Fiddle Fair Marquee from 9pm.
