Event Details
This year sees the 22nd Belfast Children’s Festival happen where young people are encouraged to think about the contribution they make to the world around them. The Festival will see 90 events taking place across the city between Friday 6th of March and Wednesday the 11th of March.
The Belfast Children’s Festival is an annual international festival for children aged 0 to 17 years and their accompanying adults. Events will be taking place both in and out of school time for schools, groups and families to attend where they can enjoy the very best international and local arts experiences. Dive into the packed programme of theatre, dance, visual art, music, literature, comedy, workshops and talks, guaranteed to inspire joy, creativity and curiosity.
Experience international artists along with home-grown talent presenting shows and interactive experiences in venues and locations across Belfast, creating many unforgettable shared experiences for all the family. There will also be a number of relaxed performances suitable for those who may benefit from a less formal theatre setting.
As well as children, the Festival also offers a diverse programme aimed at adults, professional arts practitioners and those working and studying in related fields. There’s lots to choose from, so whether you have a toddler or a teen, it’s worth checking out the full programme at youngatart.
Ticket prices vary from £4 to £10, with many events free. For tickets, workshop details and fees, and full details of all events taking place over the festival weekend and their venues, please visit youngatart, or follow on Facebook or Twitter for the very latest details.
