Event Details

Bray Literary Festival is a festival organised by writers for writers and for lovers of literature. This year’s festival will be launched on Friday 20th September 2019 (Culture night) in the Town Hall, Bray. The festival itself will take place the following weekend from Friday 27th until Sunday 29th September with full days of readings, discussions, music, writing workshops and professional development talks for writers. The intention is  to host an eclectic mix of Ireland’s rising and established voices in poetry, fiction, memoir & music.

As part of the festival there will be a series of workshops running on Saturday and Sunday, the 28th and 29th September. All workshops cost €10 and will take place in St. Cronan’s National School, Vevay Crescent (off Main Street), Bray. To book, please email Breda at [email protected].

If you would like to attend a workshop, but don’t know what to do with the kids, sign them up for the Fighting Words workshop.
