The inaugural Claremorris Folk Festival will run from Saturday 20th July to Sunday 21st July 2019. There will be four stages to choose from. You will have the choice of the Main Stage, a Marquee Stage in Market Square, a Studio Stage at Claremorris Town Hall and an Acoustic Stage.
Amongst the artists who will be performing at this exciting festival are Ultan Conlon & The Night Owls, The Lost Brothers, Seamus Fogarty, Joshua Burnside, Emma Langford, Junior Brother, The Whileaways, Goitse, Cúig, award-winning poet Stephen Murphy and many more.
For the duration of the Claremorris Folk Festival, there will be a Farmers & Craft Market running in Gilligans Lane. Here you will be able to tempt your taste buds with a wide selection of artisan food. Organic Seaweed from Connemara, Chilli sauces from Athenry, 100% raw honey from Sliabh Aughty, homemade chutneys, Jams, oils and dressings will all available to sample and to take home. There will also be beautifully carved wood work and paintings from artists such as Spiddal’s Fiona Concannon on display.
