World-renowned Uilleann Piper David Power is both the driving force behind the festival and also its curator. He has put together a wonderful line-up of Irish music that is eminently forward-looking but grown from traditional roots.
The festival kicks off on Friday night legendary trad group Lúnasa will bring their instrumental brilliance and cutting edge arrangements of Irish trad to the SGC Theatre. They are currently on their summer tour promoting their new album “Cas”.
