The Irish Vegan Festival is a 1-day event whose aim is to promote a vegan diet, sustainability and animal welfare in a positive atmosphere. It will provide attendees with the opportunity to explore the display of products like cakes, hot food, many different cuisines, nutrition supplements, jewellery to makeup and more!
There will also be talks and presentations about the reasons and the how to as to why you should adopt a Vegan lifestyle. Subjects covered will be things like “Why be vegan?” and experiences with vegan activism. Talks are free for all ticket holders and reservation is not needed to attend. There will also be a food demonstration taking place during the day by Hungry Soul author Jacques Brennan titled “The Amazing Chickpea”.
All exhibitors at the festival will be promoting vegan living, some will promote the healthy eating side of veganism while others will take a more ethical approach to veganism. All money raised by this event is going to Farplace Animal Rescue who rescue and rehome animals all over the UK.
