The Kilmore Quay Seafood Festival is an annual festival taking place over 4 days from the first Thursday in July and is about much more than just seafood.
Now in its 34th year the festival is packed with music, street theatre, stalls, exhibitions, and plenty of children’s activities. Seafood is the star of the show, of course, so you can sample the celebrated seafood platters in the Stella Maris Centre throughout the festival.
Even though the festival is packed with events for everyone, this is definitely a festival for gourmet seafood lovers. At this time every year, the unassuming fishing village of Kilmore Quay in Wexford gets the chance to showcase its wonderful seafood to the world and give visitors the opportunity to sample the huge range of fish harvested from the seas that surround this beautiful island.
Don’t miss this chance to try out the finest and freshest seafood you are ever likely to taste!
