Skerries Traditional Music Weekend 2019

This year will mark the 18th anniversary of the Skerries Traditional Music Weekend. This picturesque seaside town in Co. Dublin will play host to a weekend packed full of music, song and dance, in a celebration of Irish Culture and Heritage.

This year the festival will be focusing purely on sessions and are looking for as much support as possible in order to keep the festival alive with music, song and dance from musicians, singers, dancers and listeners alike, with a view to expanding the festival once again next year in May 2020. Over the weekend there will be many afternoon and evening traditional music sessions happening in the pubs throughout Skerries. These sessions are marvellous free entertainment open for all to attend whether you wish to take part in or just listen to the marvellous music.

So keep an eye out for these sessions in Joe Mays, Nealons, The Bus Bar, The Gladstone, The Salty Dog and The Snug whether you are a musician, singer, dancer or a listener this year.
