The Waterford Harvest Festival celebrates and shines the spotlight on the people who make good food great. Waterford being a coastal county with a rich agricultural tradition is home to many small artisan producers as well as larger food companies, resulting in a huge variety of local foods to celebrate. From the humble Blaa to the food from our fields, mountains and waters, there’s something for every taste in Waterford city during the festival weekend.
A staple on the nation’s culinary calendar, the Waterford Harvest Festival will fill the streets of Ireland’s oldest city with a banquet of inviting sights and aromas.
After eleven years of delivering a fresh and exciting programme of food events, 2019 is no exception with an emphasis on some of the city’s best restaurants hosting communal dining events, local lunches, a Polish fair and exciting chef collaborations. Local and regional producers will showcase the very best of their produce at the various festival markets and with demonstrations and bake-offs in the marquee in the Mall to keep young and old entertained and filled!
For those seeking a first rate gastronomic experience the Waterford Harvest Festival is the place to be with almost every restaurant and food outlet in the city being involved.
